This spectacular cottage is my favorite, and even though it’s not exactly in Monterey, but halfway between Monterey and Carmel by the sea, I wanted to include it in my Monterey Airbnb selection. It’s just spectacular, stylish, elegant, and cozy without being pretentious. Most of all, it boasts the typical country, fairy tale feel that makes you curl up on the sofa and stay put with a book and a cup of chocolate.

Besides its exquisite elegance, the Tank House Cottage also offer all the comfort and necessary accessories a home would have, including WIFI, heating, TV and hairdryer.

KITCHEN

Keep in mind that there is no kitchen, only a coffee maker, a refrigerator, and a microwave. So, if you plan to cook your own meals, this place is not for you. But I am sure it’s not your concern, as you might want to discover all the great restaurants in Monterey.

LOCATION & ACCESSIBILITY
The beautiful cottage is only 5 minutes from Monterey airport and 10 minutes town. Guests can access only the cottage parking, a walkway leading to the cottage, and the cottage itself. It is not permitted to enter in any of the other areas of the estate.

Located right in town, in the quaint neighborhood of Pacific Grove, full of historic buildings, shops, and restaurants.

It’s a colorful home with a colorful eclectic decor and elegant design featuring contrasting textures and patterns. It’s actually a historic residence with beamed cathedral ceilings, and stylish furnishings.

The house is at a walking distance to downtown and the beach.

Do you remember when we were kids (for us girls) and played with dolls? This cute studio looks exactly like a dollhouse. The cottage with the immaculate garden and doorway, the cute romantic interior decorations, and the pastel colors. It feels like entering a fairytale.

Although it’s in a two-story house, this studio guest suite has a private entrance and private parking.

The kind, welcoming owners live upstairs in the main residence. There is no accessibility between the main house and the suite, so your privacy is guaranteed.

It’s located in the countryside, a few minutes’ drive from either Carmel-by-the-sea or Monterey.

The home is in a very quiet, peaceful, rural setting where you can enjoy the fresh air and the shady oaks and chill before and after a day out exploring the surroundings.

There is no TV in the suite, but you will have access to WiFi.

Everything is tiny in its 270 sq. ft. space: a small kitchenette, a small refrigerator, and a small bathroom. But you will have the essentials to enjoy your stay, and everything will be perfectly tidy and perfectly organized to optimize the space.

This beautiful home and hosts have such spectacular reviews that I had to share both their homes. The other one is what comes next.

A Mid Century Pacific Grove house located on the iconic 17 Mile Drive and at a walking distance from the Pebble Beach gate, and to downtown restaurants and shops,.

Asilomar State Beach and other sites of interest are also within minutes.

The house is elegantly decorated in every single detail but my favorite part is the private outdoor patio also furnished for your utmost enjoyment.

Private yard with a deck and outdoor furniture for entertaining.

Also, owners say: “Our City STR Permit restricts us to a maximum of 2 adults per reservation. No restrictions for children under 18. Any additional guests must be under 18 years old.” For this reason, is very important that you mention the age of the kids because the Airbnb system considers kids above 13 adults.

Owners will also be in the same comple,x but with a separate entrance.

This spectacular home has no faults and is situated right on Pacific Grove Beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Unfortunately they have a 30 days minimum stay policy which is not negotiable. So whether you are working remotely or have a long vacation, this is your perfect spot!

An authentic cottage built in the 30s with its vintage charm and cozy feel.

Equipped with all the modern amenities, including dryer, washer, TV, dishwasher, coffeemaker, hairdryer, and much more, for the maximum comfort of the guests.

Also the owners want to highlight that they are implementing a one-night gap between all bookings, and enhanced cleaning procedures to include sanitizing all commonly-touched surfaces. The housekeepers conduct a health screening and temperature check before each cleaning. Additionally, they have switched to individually-wrapped toiletries and amenities wherever possible.
