It’s located right by the coast on Agata Beach in Newport. It offers a variety of homey accommodation options with rich furnishings and facilities like seating areas and private bathrooms, and some have kitchenettes.

The hotel terrace, garden, and lounge are open to all guests, and Ocean House also offers conveniences like wireless internet connectivity and free secure parking.

The location and design of the hotel are unique and breathtaking, so if you’re after a memorable holiday experience, I highly recommend Ocean House. Plus, the breakfast here is super delicious, too!

Since it’s a 5-star hotel, you can rest assured that the amenities here will be top-of-the-line. But what’s more, the hotel is also one of the most unique places to stay in Oregon, with a lot to explore in and around it.

The location was perfect, the room was very clean and the staff was super amazing! We will definitely be back!

Rooms of Hotel Zags are very contemporary in their design and feature amenities just as modern. Flat-screen TVs, desks, mini-fridges, and coffee makers are available in each one.

Benson is also located in downtown Portland, close to the Old Town of the city, and it’s an imposing landmark hotel built back in 1913. It belongs to Hilton’s Curio Collection, so you will find an excellent variety of accommodation options and amenities.

Spacious, tastefully decorated rooms have elegant amenities like ACs, flat-screen TVs, coffee makers, and iPod docks. Suites have additional spaces, such as living rooms. You will also have room service available.

Palm Court is the on-site restaurant open throughout the day, and the hotel has a steakhouse that’s open for dinner. Complimentary tea and Starbucks coffee are served every morning in the hotel lobby.

Another one of the top unique hotels on the Oregon coast, the Inn at Haystack Rock, is located just off Highway 101. This intimate hotel has a very homelike vibe and tranquil surroundings.

The accommodation options include cozy cottages surrounding the hotel’s beautiful Spanish-style fountain. Each one has rooms with comfy amenities and a well-equipped kitchenette. Some lodgings also have furnished patios, whirlpool tubs, and living rooms.

Amenities here include free wifi connectivity throughout the hotel, complimentary secure parking, and two beautiful garden courtyards.

The hotel is within walking distance of shops and restaurants, the beach, and the famous Haystack Rock.

 I absolutely loved my stay at this wonderful little oasis on the Oregon coast! The location is fantastic – right off the beach with easy access.

Close to both Benson Portland and Hotel Zags, the Dossier hotel is a gem in the center of Portland where you get a great combination of luxury amenities and an excellent location – making it a great choice from romantic places to stay in Oregon.

The Dossier Hotel’s rooms are tastefully furnished and modern. During your stay, you will have an array of top-notch amenities, plus there’s a pillow bar at the hotel where you can get specialty pillows.

The property includes a fitness center and an elegant French restaurant. It also has a 24-hour front desk, complimentary Wi-Fi, and valet parking (an additional surcharge).

The staff here is incredibly warm and welcoming, and Dossier is also very pet-friendly. If you’re bringing a pet along, it will provide a bed, treats, bowls, and toys.

The location was convenient for first time travelers. I felt safe throughout my stay. The staff was extremely hospitable and accommodating.

Housed in a building constructed back in the beginning of the 1900s, The Hoxton is another one of the top themed hotels in Oregon on my list located in downtown Portland.

The decor in Hoxton’s rooms is modernist-inspired but still chic and classic. Every unit has air conditioning, Wi-Fi, mini-fridges, and coffee machines.

An upscale restaurant, cafe, and a rooftop bar with Mexican food on the menu are all part of the hotel. You can also order a delightful continental breakfast in-room completely free and room service is available.

The Old Town is only a walk from the hotel and to take advantage of its great location near so many attractions of Portland, you can use the hotel’s loaner bikes to go out and explore.

Heathman is a similarly stylish and equally exceptional landmark hotel in downtown Portland. Its location is just right if you have the city’s top attractions on your itinerary.

The list of in-room amenities here is unending and includes free wifi, desks, minibars, pillow options, and fitness equipment. Suites additionally have whirlpool tubs, living rooms, and 2 flat-screen TVs.

In terms of luxury and comfort, you will have things like in-room massages, concierge service, and complimentary wine tastings.

The hotel also includes a gym, library, art gallery, and business center. Oh, and you will love the super-friendly staff.

The Peerless Hotel is one of the most beautiful places to stay in Oregon. Its interiors are designed so gorgeously that you will feel like you’re inside the world of a painting.

But the hotel isn’t just about looks; the amenities offered here are equally as incredible. Every guest room has modern comforts like air conditioning, Wi-Fi, coffee machines, and private bathrooms. 

You will also have access to the hotel’s terrace if you want to take in stunning views of the city and the hotel has a shared lounge and garden as well.

Many great attractions in the region are located near the property, and the hotel provides secure parking for all its guests.

Even Hotel is an IHG property located in Eugene. It’s a unique place to stay on my list that is designed with fitness enthusiasts in mind.

Every room of this hotel has a dedicated state-of-the-art fitness center and fitness equipment. However, rooms also offer comforts like private bathrooms with spa showers, air conditioning, mini-fridges, and flat-screen TVs.

The hotel has a 24-hour front desk and free parking, and you can use its complimentary wifi throughout the property.

There is a pool area inside the hotel as well, where you can take a refreshing dip, and an intimate cafe is also part of the hotel where you can grab healthy meals.

Very convenient location, easy parking, bed, linens, pillows, etc very comfortable and I loved having the workout items in the room.

Bend is a quaint city located at the edge of Deschutes National Forest, and the Campfire Hotel is a gorgeous unique hotel in it if you’re looking for an unforgettable stay.

Accommodation options here include richly furnished rooms and suites perfect for solo travelers, couples, families, and groups alike.

All the guests love the comfy beds in its rooms, and facilities like TVs with cable channels, small refrigerators, and Wi-Fi are provided to the guests as well.

The Bend city center is very close to the hotel, and Mt. Bachelor is a great short trip from this hotel for those who want to go skiing. Plus, there’s a lot more to see and do in the region.

Along with original artwork and memorabilia on the walls, and the secret hallways and rooms that you can discover, the hotel has rooms that once used to be classrooms.

You can enjoy a pub, brewery, movie theater, live music venue, and a soaking pool that is open year-round.

Private meeting and event spaces also make it a great choice for weddings, parties, and conferences. 

In addition, if you happen to be a fan of McMenamins’ beer, wine, spirits, and cider, you’ll be happy to know that they are all available here.

The McMenamins Old St. Francis School hotel is conveniently located in downtown Bend, just three blocks from the Deschutes River. That means it’ll be very convenient for you to explore the city’s attractions, which are within walking distance.

The Bowline Hotel was once a fish cannery, built over the Columbia River, which has been transformed into a stylish and modern space with 40 luxurious rooms and suites.

The hotel offers panoramic river and city views from your room, as well as a cozy atmosphere complemented by its soaking bathtubs, saunas, and fireplaces.

There is a highly-rated onsite cocktail bar and eatery called The Knot, where you can savor delicious food and drinks, made with local ingredients and inspired by the region’s history and culture.

As its name implies, this hotel is situated on the banks of the beautiful Deschutes River, and it offers breathtaking views of the water and the surrounding nature.

There are more than 200 spacious rooms and suites available, all equipped with flat-screen TVs, gourmet coffee machines, microwaves, refrigerators, and private patios or balconies.

The onsite restaurant serves Pacific Northwest-inspired cuisine and is well-liked by the guests. The hotel also features a seasonal outdoor pool, a hot tub, a fitness center, and a billiards room.

Don’t think that just because The Riverhouse is situated in nature it won’t offer easy access to the city. The hotel is situated just minutes from downtown and within a 30-minute drive of Mt. Bachelor.

And, thanks to the hotel’s location, you can also enjoy the outdoor activities that Bend is famous for, such as hiking, skiing, and fishing.

This hotel is a mid-century roadside motor inn that was built back in 1950, and it has five themed rooms, each with a different vibe and style.

And if you’re a Trekkie looking for cool Oregon hotels, the Star Trek—USS Enterprise Room at this inn is the perfect unique lodging option.

This room is a tribute to the original series. It features a replica of the USS Enterprise bridge, complete with a captain’s chair, a console, a tridimensional chess set, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels.

The hotel also offers complimentary wifi, private parking, and free airport shuttle service. You can also enjoy your room’s complimentary organic coffee, tea, and oatmeal.

The staff at Bitty Inn is really friendly and helpful as well. It’s led by the owner Rick, who is passionate about Star Trek and the local community and he’s the one who spent extra effort making sure that the Star Trek room feels authentic. 

This is a completely unique place, incredibly creative and a labor of love by the innkeeper.

A unique hotel doesn’t necessarily have to break the bank. It’s an affordable yet comfortable place to stay that was once a sailor’s hotel in the historic neighborhood of Old Town Chinatown.

The Society Hotel has cozy and minimalist rooms with white linens, white tiled walls, plush robes, and great city views.

You can also choose to stay in a hostel-style bunk, which is perfect for solo travelers or groups who want to meet new people.

Also, The Society Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Portland, where you can explore the city’s attractions and activities.

Lan Su Chinese Garden, Powell’s City of Books, the Oregon Convention Center, and Governor Tom McCall Waterfront Park are just a walk away. The Portland Art Museum and the Rose Garden Arena are a short drive away.

This one’s for the book lovers. It’s named after Sylvia Beach, the American expatriate who opened the famous Shakespeare and Company bookstore in Paris back in 1919.

The hotel is a literary-themed bed and breakfast, where each room is decorated and furnished to reflect the life and works of 21 different authors.

You can sleep in the room themed like your favorite author, from Agatha Christie to J.R.R. Tolkien, and enjoy the details and books in each room.

Sylvia Beach Hotel has a cozy and quiet oceanfront library where you can read and relax. The hotel also offers free mulled wine and cookies in the evening.

You can join the other guests for a family-style dinner at the Tables of Content restaurant as well, where you can share stories and opinions about books and authors.
