So much beauty for a shack! Seriously. When I read “shack” I couldn’t believe it was among the Airbnb Plus. Then I saw the pictures and I thought: “I want to live in this “Shack” like forever!”
Don’t let the distance from the beach discourage you. It’s only 2 miles and I am sure you will have rented a car. Or maybe you can rent a bike to move around the neighborhood and live your vacay like a local! But this place is a real gem that you cannot miss.
The beachy vibes from the laidback chic decor perfectly match the luxurious amenities to make you feel at home. The natural wood floors, and minimal furniture, create a nice balance with the colorful artwork, inspired by the local coastline. It’s like having the ocean on your walls.
Make sure you don’t miss the spectacular sunset from the rooftop deck.
The house is located in an eclectic residential neighborhood less than 2 miles from the beach and all the local hotspots!

I have to be honest, I didn’t choose this apartment for the decor and its overall esthetic. It’s not exactly my style. However, I mean, look at the location. You basically step right on the beach from your patio and you have the sunset in your living room.
And that totally makes up for the less appealing decor. Am I right?
More about this place. It’s a condo in a gated community and is located on the first floor. Completely furnished with fully stocked kitchen, WIFI, smart TV, Cable, and Phone included.
- No pets allowed.
- No smoking in condo or on patio.
- Laundry room located steps away within the community.
- Wetsuit, surfboard, and bicycle rentals are steps away.

Location, location, location!

This home has a weird name but I understand the owner wanting to emphasize the fact that it’s located in a very strategic spot only one block from the beach and close to many bars and restaurants.
The house itself has very spacious rooms and is decorated with posters and other items in memory of Nataly Kotsch, a legend in Huntington beach as she was the founder of the International Surfing Museum. In fact, this home previously belonged to her.
You can look her up and look for her name on the Surfing Walk of Fame on the “Honor Roll” on Main street at the entrance to Jacks Surf Shop.
The house is also stocked with everything you need to be comfortable, including beach chairs, wagons, coolers, umbrellas, and beach toys for enjoying the sandy beach.
Guest can also use an open-air shower and barbecue facilities on the back porch to relax after a fun day on the sand.
Pets are allowed!

Please be aware that because it is very much centrally located, you can hear traffic, especially at peak times. A sound machine is provided in the bedroom to impact noise levels if needed.
Guests can enjoy outdoor seating, a community grill, a fire pit, shared with the other guests of the building. If you decide to rent a bike and explore the surroundings (very much recommended), bike rental shops are located within walking distance.
Also, beach towels are provided plus some beach items to make your stay even more enjoyable.
